Pickaxe shop: Power, Mine Size, and cost

Buy the next Pickaxe Shop card when rock stops you. Power and Mine Size both go up, and Mine Size caps at Twilight Cleaver.

Pickaxes are bought at the Pickaxe Shop in the hub with Cash. Each tool has Power and Mine Size. Power is how fast a crystal breaks. Mine Size is how much mountain one swing clears. Higher numbers are strictly better; there is no tradeoff between the two. From Twilight Cleaver upward, Mine Size is listed as Max, so later tools are compared on Power alone.

The experience description does not print this shop table. The names, costs, and stats below are a published shop lineup. Several Power and Mine Size pairs were also read off shop cards in an early playthrough: 25, then 75, then 125, then 210 Power with Mine Size 104, then 600 Power with Mine Size 338. Confirm the next card in your own shop before you spend, because a live price can move.

Rusted Scrapper is the tool you spawn with. The first real purchase is Splintered Timber at 25 Cash. One Epic row is published only as an abbreviated name while listing 43,000 Cash, Power 600, and Mine Size 338. Match that card by the two stats. Do not guess a longer name.

Genesis Core is also referred to as Ultima Genesis Core. It is the top of this lineup: 1 trillion Cash, 1,000,000 Power, Mine Size Max.

How to spend

Buy the next pickaxe when you can afford it if mining speed or rock resistance is the bottleneck. Saving across several tiers while you swing a weak tool slows the Cash loop. A pickaxe-level warning, or a formation that will not break, means the next tool is the purchase even if you wanted warmth or bag space.

A large formation called the Mossite Boulder is reported at 308.8K HP and is reported to need the Titanium Breaker. Check the health bar and the warning on the rock in front of you before you treat that as a hard gate.

Cash is the only currency named for this shop. Robux skips, if the shop shows them, are separate from this Cash table.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How often does the mining zone change?

The official description says a new Antarctic mining zone arrives every hour. Zone names are not published ahead of time. Read the zone board in your server after the hour.

Are there Mine Antarctica codes?

No working code is confirmed. The experience description does not list one, and strings published for other mining games will not work here. A code field location is also not confirmed.

Should I dig down or climb?

Climb. Guides and gameplay agree that digging straight down does not improve crystal rarity. Height is the progression bar, and the cold is the limit on that height.

What should I upgrade first?

Buy the upgrade that matches why the last run stopped. Climb Higher (warmth) if the cold or your health ends it. A better pickaxe if rock or a crystal will not break. Carry More (backpack) if the bag fills while you are still safe.

How do I raise Mining Luck?

Place spare crystals in the garden for digging luck. Like the experience and join the PolarMine Games group for a stated +1 Mining Luck. The description does not publish how much luck each garden crystal adds.
